3. Playstation 3
With about 86 million units sold till march 2016 Playstation 3 still has a strong community in india. Ps3 had a slow start in market and with time that greatly changed. The ps3 is a perfect video game console for newcomers and with games like uncharted and the last of us it is a strong competitor but perhaps for me the strongest selling point of ps3 would be its free multiplayer with no subscription required which makes it a clear winner over xbox 360 and maybe even xbox one?

4. Xbox 360
The cheapest console on our list, the xbox 360 is a great console and in many terms better than the ps3 but if you aren't worried about the money you are better of buying the xbox one. Coming to the console it is a great console if your budget is low or just want a great multimedia console for your kid without spending much. Xbox live though little expensive provides great features and great free games every month.

If it wasn't for Nintendo not officially selling their products in India this video game console would deserve a higher ranking. Switch is a great console and can be used as a handheld if not docked and plugged into your television. The Switch uses Joy-Con wireless controllers, which include standard buttons and a directional joystick for user input, motion sensing, and high-definition tactile feedback. Nintendo is known for one of best selling games and has a strong fan base. If you aren't shy of spending about 37,000INR for a console and then some more for games with no official support, though the amazon sellers in India can provide you with support this console can be number 1 on your list.
